Thanks to the innovative material with volcanic lava, heat is distributed evenly and the styling plates remain exceptionally smooth. This allows the iron to glide easily through every hair type, without unnecessary friction. Because the tool works efficiently at lower temperatures than many traditional styling tools, it helps to reduce heat damage as much as possible.

Use the styling iron on dry hair only. Set the desired temperature based on the hair type and allow the tool to heat up completely. Always use a heat protectant beforehand to optimally protect the hair and any extensions from heat.
Divide the hair into sections and gently glide the styling iron from roots to ends. Repeat if needed for an extra smooth result. To create soft waves, slightly rotate the tool while gliding it through the hair.
For hair extensions, we recommend using a lower temperature and avoiding prolonged heat exposure on the attachment points.
The right care is obviously important for maintaining and enjoying your Extensions. The condition of the hair stands out because of good or bad care. With the right products, styling tools and proper care, you will enjoy your Hair Extensions longer and they will give you the ultimate glamorous look! However, poor care with the wrong products or unsuitable styling tools will leave the hair looking unkempt, or even dry.
It is important to realize that Hair Extensions do not have the same DNA as your own hair. Indian Gold uses the locks of Hindustani people from India for its hair, which has a slightly different structure and type of hair than the European hair structure. Our product, however, is most similar to "European" hair, as opposed to Chinese hair. In addition, the hair is processed into various colors and structures – this is chemical-free process, with preservation of the own cuticle layer and without adding silicones. Extension hair may react differently to shampoo than your own hair, so it may be that the care products you have been using satisfactorily for years, are now less suited. It is important to choose good care products that will take care of both your own hair and the extensions. We strongly recommend using the exclusive brand Kérastase Paris.

Don't forget that Extensions are not nourished from the scalp like your own hair. That is why it is so important that the extensions are taken care of with the right products.
Important! Do not use volumizing shampoo at all and preferably also avoid organic shampoos, as these will dry out the extensions and not provide enough nutrition. We also do not recommend anti-dandruff shampoos because it often contains zinc and fades the color. Do not use OlaPlex.
Always brush your Extensions out well before washing. Wash your hair every 2 days, this will reduce the accumulation of natural oils and dirt on the scalp and in the hair which on its turn will positively affect the durability of the Hair Extensions. Use a dry shampoo between washes if necessary. Wash your hair down with the length and not as a big bunch on the head. Always use a care product! This can be a conditioner or mask. Spread it well through lengths and ends, avoiding the scalp. Make sure no shampoo or conditioner residue is left in the hair.
Gently pat the hair dry with a towel and avoid rubbing! Always apply a heat protectant to the hair after which it can then be dried with a hairdryer or diffuser in any desired model and style.
Important! Never sleep with wet or towel-dried hair.
It is very important to brush the hair regularly. With loose extensions, you should also brush the bondings or i-Tips. Brushing the bonding or i-Tips will avoid old fallen out hair to tangle between the scalp and the attachment. Brushing can only be done with the appropriate extension brush. Always start at the ends and when brushing, hold the hair with one hand above the ends so you do not pull any extensions from the attachment.
In the knowledge that the Extension hair is a different type than your own hair, you will understand that the natural look of the Extension hair is often different than your own natural look. To make the hair’s appearance as natural as possible, we always recommend styling the hair with the use of heat tools. These tools provide shiny and polished hair whereby the Extensions can beautifully blend in with your own hair. After styling the hair, you can give it extra care and add shine to the lengths and ends with an oil or serum.
Our advice is to brush curly hair thoroughly and make it tangle-free before washing. After washing, you can put in a leave-in cream and/or serum and afterwards you can dry it as usual (by air or with a diffuser).
When you wake up in the morning, chances are the curls are pointing in different directions and the hair may be a bit frizzy. In that case, gently comb through the hair with a detangling brush and then dampen it with a conditioning spray or some water. Then squeeze the curl back with your hands, this will return the hair to its natural curl shape. We recommend not brushing curly hair during the day to prevent frizz.
We do understand it can be tricky and difficult sometimes to choose the right products in a digital and virtual way. If you are therefore not really sure about the color, structure, length or the system, we do recommend ordering a trial package first! Opened packages may not be returned.
